LICENSE AND CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT FOR THE ALPHA TEST PHASE

the following agreement is made:
1. Purpose of the Agreement
The tester is granted a limited, revocable license to use the alpha version of the game (“Software”) solely for testing purposes.
2. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure
The tester agrees to keep all information about the Software, including but not limited to gameplay mechanics, content, graphics, story, technical details, and bugs, strictly confidential.
Sharing screenshots, videos, streams, or any other content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
The tester is not allowed to distribute, copy, or publicly share the Software or any part of it.
3. Usage Rights and Restrictions
The Software may only be used during the alpha test phase and exclusively by the registered tester.
The tester acknowledges that this is a non-public test version that may contain bugs and is subject to change.
Any attempt to decompile, modify, or tamper with the Software is strictly prohibited.
4. Feedback and Reporting
The tester may voluntarily provide feedback, bug reports, or suggestions to [contact address].
The developer has the unrestricted right to use this feedback without compensation.
5. Data Storage
The tester agrees that their contact details (e.g., name and email address) will be stored on the project server for up to one (1) year for administrative and testing purposes.
After this period, the data will be permanently deleted.
6. Termination of the License
The developer may revoke the license at any time without stating a reason.
Upon termination of the test phase or upon request, the tester must delete the Software immediately.
7. Disclaimer of Liability
The Software is provided “as is” without any guarantee of functionality or availability.
The developer is not liable for any damages or data loss resulting from the use of the Software.
8. Miscellaneous
This agreement is governed by [applicable law, e.g., German law].

Any changes to this agreement must be in writing.
