✨ New Features
- Optional Onboard Crew (Beta)
- Crew visuals can now be enabled/disabled in the Graphics Menu.
- Currently available on the rescue cruiser and the container ship.

- Activated Mission Timers
Missions now run with strict time limits by default. These can be turned off in the Gameplay Menu for a more relaxed experience. - XP Ranking & Achievements (Beta)
- Earn XP to increase your rank.
- Completing missions grants badges as achievements.
- Achievements will also unlock as Steam Achievements.
- A total of 85 achievements are planned for release.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
Missions
- Missions correctly end after completion (no more continuing after “done”).
- Rescue missions: rescue call array is now cleared properly when a mission is aborted.
- After a failed rescue mission, no more duplicate active missions with overlapping radio calls.
- Fishing mission: increased required catch mass and extended mission time.
- Rescue mission: time limit no longer persists after mission fail.
- Mission helper sign is now removed correctly after loading a save.
- Collision checks now use the ship’s draft level instead of surface water level.
Ships
- Sailboat: tug can correctly attach to mast tops to try lifting a capsized sailboat 😉
- Flooding rates reduced on rescue cruise ships and offshore vessels.
- Swimming people in high-wave rescues now match the scenario better.
- Starboard rudder axis is working again.
- Docking panel correctly opens after loading a save.
- Radar works again after loading.
- Override/heading switch is functional again.
- Radio: Channel 20 now stops correctly when changing to another channel.
Environment & Weather
- Local weather forecast updates correctly with planned wind speed.
- Local weather changes wind and wave conditions again as expected.
UI / HUD / Input
- Main menu settings remain clickable after returning from gameplay.
- Keyboard layout updated with Z-drive inputs.
- Binocular crosshair color changed to white for improved visibility.
Tug Missions
- Sassnitz tug mission: no more false reports about grounded ships when requesting a new mission.
- Tug task requests made at the exact moment a pulled ship departs no longer offer that ship again.
- For testing purpose, ships pulled out of harbor will move back into harbor by there own.
👉 This update introduces onboard crew (starting with the rescue cruiser and container ship), mission time management, and the very first XP/achievement system. Alongside that, a wide range of mission, ship, and UI bugs have been resolved.
