The docking panel allows you to control every mooring point in detail. A simple click on a mooring point, drops a line from this point to the closest mooring point at land. By using the mouse wheel, you can adjust the line length until the status shows “tight”. You can select from different line types by opening the drop down field. Diameter, Material and maximum line length change depending on the selected type. This results also in a different maximum line strength.
During heavy weather conditions, when applying engine power or during loading operations, the line might break. So keep an eye on the applied force versus the maximum force allowed.
