Pilot support

When operating large ships on tight water ways or close to shore, with only an echo sounder, it might be advisable to request a maritime pilot, who knows the area very well.

Request the pilot via the radio menu:

He will support navigation of the ship, by informing you about shallow waters ahead of the ship.

You can change the distance ahead of the ship, where the pilot makes his announcement for with the “Sonar warn distance” key.
